T Rex Pedals Meett up with Elbow
T-Rex meets Elbow
Elbow uses T-Rex pedals for both guitar and keyboard.
T Rex met up with Mark Potter from Elbow last week as they made preparations for their UK arena tour. Mark fell in love with T Rex tone during the recording of their new release ‘Build A Rocket Boys’, the eagerly anticipated follow up to their double platinum 2008 Mercury Prize winning album ‘The Seldom Seen Kid’. Already using Mudhoney, Alberta , Moller & Chameleon , Mark really liked the Mudhoney II & Luxury Drive that we brought him to try & they now form an essential part of his touring rig. The bands affection for T Rex products doesn’t end there though! Keyboard player & Elbow producer Craig Potter (also Mark’s brother) can be seen with T Rex on top of his keyboard in the video for ‘Neat Little Rows’, the first single from the new album. Craig uses the DGTM for his overdriven organ sound live. We wish the band every success with the new album & the world tour that starts in March.
