HOW TO CHOOSE AN ACOUSTIC PICKUP
We know how you feel about your acoustic guitar. When it's time to amplify it, there are two considerations that go above all others:
- Will it negatively affect my sound?
- Will using it force me to modify my guitar?
As the worldwide leader in pickup design, Seymour Duncan has decades of experience in ensuring that your acoustic guitar will retain the sonic characteristics that you want, There are several Seymour Duncan models that can be used with nearly any acoustic guitar without any kind of modification... just pop them in when you need them, and pop them out when you're done.
With a Seymour Duncan acoustic pickup, the true tone of your guitar comes shining through loud enough, without you having to worry about feedback. And, you can actually move around to your music instead of being glued to the mic.

Say Goodbye to the Mic
Acoustic guitars are, by design, large resonant chambers that push sound and air out the soundhole. Putting a mic in front of the soundhole is the simplest amplification answer, but acoustic guitars are notoriously difficult to amplify with microphones. The result is often feedback, muddiness, and inconsistent amplified volume as you move back and forth near the mic's sweet spot.
